The Early Intervention Team works with young people at the start of the Youth Justice system. They work with them to encourage them to take responsibility for their actions and to try to put right any harm their offending may have caused. The team encourages victims of offences to be involved in their work so that young people are aware of the impact that their behaviour has on others. The team supports young people to make positive changes in their lives so that they stay out of trouble in the future.
